My bad OJ does deserve to be in the convo but I think Peterson has passed him by far. Did someone really say dikkerson?

OJ was a terrific runner but outside of being the first runningback to reach 2,000 yards what else did he really do? He wasn't flashy like Barry, AD, Sweetness and dikkerson or consistent like Emmit, LT and Campbell.

Longevity is another component. Jim at least did it for 8 seasons. AD has played 5 seasons total.

Talent Wise he's definitely there, but we gotta wait until his career develops a bit more before we crown his ass.

I think him and Marshawn will end up being the Barry vs Emmitt of our generation though.

No way LT was better than AD. He wasn't nearly as explosive as Peterson. Before the hate comes in, I know he's had a better career at this point, but he wasn't a better player.

AD is definitely the best RB I've seen since Barry. Hopefully his body holds up and he can do this for another 5-6 years.

he was a 5 time rushing champion. He was getting 1500 yards in 14 game seasons.

I mean you shytting on OJ for "not doing much else" yet are gladly propping up AD. What "else has" AD done? Same with Eric dikkerson.

Its a criteria that makes no sense and seems biased based on you seeing more of the later RBs.

Emmit having a GOAT O line to run through for most of his prime will always be held against him. His running style had more to do with other people on the field than any other rusher mentioned.
