So is Von Miller now the leading candidate for DPOY, or are we still...

JJ Watt is playing at a HOF level atm. no need to potshot him in the OP

Watt has 11.5 sacks from the 3-4 DE position. u have to go back 40 years (Deacon Jones) to see that kinda production from that position. unreal

This man knows what he's talking about. Von is a beast but I still got Watt as the DPOY, he's been more impressive to me. Lotta games left to be played though.

I'm tryin really hard to see this from your perspective, I really am...but I just can't see what puts Watt ahead of Miller right now. Both are having great seasons, but Miller is just something else :whew:. I guess we'll just have to see how the rest of the season plays out...

no disrespect to JJ, he is having an outstanding season as well, but Von having 13 sacks from a 4-3 OLB position is also impressive considering that he doesn't rush the passer as often as JJ, and has more sacks. Dude is damn near unblockable.

I admit I'm biased, but I just don't see any other defender dominating games the way Von has been for the last 5 or so games...shyts almost, dare I say, LT like :lawd:

u don't see 13 sacks from a 4-3 OLB position, true. but u also dont see 11.5 sacks from a 3-4 DE either. the rarity of that is astounding. like i said earlier, u have to go back 40 years with Deacon Jones or 20 years with Bruce Smith to see that kind of production

also add in the fact that Watt averages 1.5 pass deflections a game....AS A 3-4 D-LINEMEN. like i said, its unreal how he's playing right now. reality talk

do they do Co-DPOTY?

pretty much equal at this point

Watt was more dominant during the 4-5 first games and Miller has been literally unstoppable for the last 3-4 games

One thing I think we can all agree on is that that 2011 defensive draft class is puttin in that work! Watt, Miller, Aldon Smith, Peterson :whew:

I know the Cardinals are abysmal on offense, but I was watching that boy Darrell Washington do everything against the Falcons.Every time I watch him play, I walk away impressed.I think he's right up there with Patrick Willis as the best ILB in football.

Only person to give him any props was Terry Bradshaw. He picked Washington as his mid season DPOY

Yea Washington routinely made our Oline look like clowns. That Arizona front 7 is talented.

Also, lets look at third downs. Watt has three sacks and zero TFLs. Von has nine sacks and three TFLs.

Von delivers when it matters most :jawalrus:
