Being that I'm part berber myself I think I know the history of my people the berbers always had different colors and/or religions. I'm not talking about the berbers of today like Zinidine Zidaine and etc., they never considered themselves to be different races which is what you are claiming. Just because there are invaders doesn't mean they were of a different race, especially most likely if that group of invaders are you net door neighbors. A little bit of travel is enough to change the phenotype of that group and if they invade and mix with a new populous can even create another phenotype. Again nothing to do with races. Cacness even in ancient times was a skin disease which could eventually turn a person entirely white, as evidenced by ancient writers, and the concept of classifying a people by their physical traits, has been in existence for thousands of years as evidenced by the writing of Josephus and other historians.
