So if the 76ers get taken out by the HAWKS who do you want for your squad?

Ben and all their picks for Dame, that is if Portland wants to rebuild :hubie:
If I'm Portland, I don't want Ben, I rather get RJ Barrett or Herro+picks in exchange for Dame.

If all else fails, trade Ben and George Hill(salary dump) to the Hornets for Terry Rosier. Hornets can shift Ben to the 5(Simmons is the same size as Cody Zeller, but he can switch better on wings).
This is a good trade for both sides, the Sixers get off Simmons' contract and get a guard who can get his own shot(Terry), the Hornets get a more athletic person at 5 and who will play better PnR defense.

Simmons + picks for Dame or Beal only moves I'd agree with.
That's the risk of Morey. I could see dude trading Shake, Maxey, Seth even for some mid Robert Covington type deal that don't even work out.
Simmons the only player I feel like you can get real value for

:mjlol: A mid wing and a role player + picks for lillard. You gonna need more than that homeboy

Harden got traded for basically all of BK's picks, Dame is not gon fetch an AD package. Especially since most contenders outside of Denver don't have the assets to get Dame, while the teams other that have the assets aren't really doing shyt if they get Dame. Realistically there's only 2 teams that would legit be in a Dame race(Knicks, Heat).

I was saying before the season that Ben Simmons would be a perfect compliment to Trae Young or Damien Lillard. Scoring guards who lack ideal size defensively but can set Ben up going downhill.
He takes the ball out of both guys hands and that makes them ineffective. Ben needs to play with someone like Steph Curry who doesn’t need to have the ball to light you up.

Ben just needs to be a 5 or PF and be Clippers Blake Griffin. The thing is, for him to do that, he needs a reliable mid range.

:ehh: Tobias Harris would be a good Knick. I wouldn’t mind giving up a first round pick

I remember Blake Griffin and Brook Lopez being back to the basket guys when they first came in. And now today their purpose is to space the floor and shoot 3’s. Ben Simmons could be one of those guys, but he’s probably just lazy, or insecure about something.

The crazy thing is that he could be Clipper Blake Griffin w/ defense or Draymond on steroids, the right coach just needs to put him as a big and play offball(rim running, post ups, pick and rolls).
