I have no desire to have sex with a baby, and never have in the past. I think it would follow that I probably never will have that desire... but who knows, really. It's not off the table, put it that way

So, you feel that raping a baby is okay if one has the desire to do so?

No, but I might be able to justify it to myself if I wanted to rape a baby...

or my opinion on baby rape might change in the future where I think it's okay to do so.

Why would you have to justify raping a baby and why would it be okay to do so (rape a baby) in the future?

Don't bother with Docfunk. He has a strange fixation on raping babies...:what:

He's trying to prove a point but he hasn't one.

I have a point, but require you to answer the original question in order to make it.

Since you have not, I cannot.

Moral absolute something that should ought to be but it impossible because there are people that are out there raping babies because in their mind, there is nothing wrong with it, AT LEAST WHEN THEY ARE COMMITTING THE ACT.

Can you think of something else besides raping babies? I'm sure the-coli is on the government watchlist now :whew:

As stated before, you're confusing a fact (is) with an ought (value). What people do is subject to change. What people ought to do is not.

You still haven't answered the question.

Your angle is as if there are some golden rules laid out somewhere of what humans ought to do. That's what it sounds like when you say what people OUGHT to do is NOT subject to change.

And that brings in a whole host of other variables. Just get to the point already breh I'll give you one more chance and I'm done with this.

That is correct.

Can't get to the point unless you stop avoiding answering the question. So I guess you're done.

and let's say the man that was killed was a bum that has no family or friends. Why should that man be punished for killing that bum? The bum no longer exists and cannot experience anything. He had no friends or family so there aren't any grievances. There are no negative burdens held.

Punishing that person would only put a faith in perhaps a karma based system or afterlife but those haven't been proven.

Speak on it.
Lock him up to keep him from killing again.
