it's like seeing two sides of Dinero:
Goodfellas:
Boss
Laid down the murder game
The scene where he help beat and stab up billy batts
Gooning it up
Casino:
Simp
Wimp
Falling in love with a gold digging slut bag
Knocking up said slut bag up
Trying to save said slut bag from her slut bag ways
Watching slut bag empty out the safe deposit box on drugs
He wore nice suits
I go with goodfellas
deniro in casino wasn't a wimp. he was just protected. joe pesci called him the "golden jew" in the opening scene. he was such a money maker for the mobb, he didn't have to even get his hands dirty cuz he had mad goons under his command. hell, pesci mentioned that deniro could make the bosses more money on a weekend with sports betting than he could doing robberies for a month. so that tells you he was untouchable just off that alone.
I'll agree he was a major tho.
I prefer good fellas, but I can't knock anyone who prefers casino. both are piff. that'd be like people arguing over godfather 1 and 2 or a new hope vs empires strikes back. can't go wrong in any instance.
just about the time that I'm coming out of jail, hopefully you'll be coming out of your coma and guess what? I'll split your fukkin' head open again. 'Cuz I'm fukkin' stupid, I don't give a fukk about jail. That's my business. That's what I do.
Casion has one of the GOAT Pesci quotes...
and one of the GOAT Scorsese shots..
Am i wrong?
Im 21 btw.
boring day. had to make a thread on this classic after watching it.
Goodfellas is def the better flick imo but I enjoy pesci in casino more than any other role.
For me, Ray Liotta and his character and the realness of it all makes it better...but only slightly. I wouldn't even argue with someone who preferred Casino bc they are both classics.
