So, i think "Casino" is better than "Goodfellas"....

Man this is one of the hardest decisions I've ever made.... I love both movies so much. Goodfellas taught you the rules to life, Casino taught you how to run your business properly and what NOT to do plus it taught you what type of people you should surround yourself with.

I pick Goodfellas as the better movie only because I see Casino in a lot of ways as the "unnoficial sequel" to Goodfellas in a weird way.

I feel this thread always gets made and always does double digits. I have seen both prob more times than Ive seen anything. Too me Casino flies by and its almost 3 hours at that. The soundtrack, the quotables and the characters(Lester Diamond) I love this shyt, but I couldnt get mad at anybody for picking Goodfellas over it

The only difference in both the movies is DeNiro though, Jimmy in Goodfellas got paranoid as shyt and stupid. Ace was just a simp on every level and manned up occiasionally. He proves in both of these he can play whatever and is easily believeable in either role Top 3 actor to me no questions asked.

The hate I have for her makes Casino slightly better.

Joe Pesci killed both.

Hopefully Scorsese is following the Montreal mob situation where about 25 reputable members and a godfather have been killed in the past 3, 4 years, a classic can be made out of this.

I still say a Philly mob movie taking place from the late 80's to the late 90's (Joey Merlino's era) would make a FANTASTIC mafia movie.

The whole story of Joey and them young bucks is just too dope.

I was 11 when I first witness this epic masterpiece.

I'm in my 30's and have watched both of these flicks countless times. They're both very good movies. But gun to my head, I'd give Casino the narrow edge because of how they killed Joe Pesci and his brother at the end. shyt was pretty awesome.

Watching Ray Liotta at the end of GoodFellas was just sad and depressing. Not taking anything away from either of these flicks. Scorsese is a genius.

This is 100% on point. I like how they showed EVERYBODY'S downfall. Liotta in goodfellas ended up bein a simp ass junkie and I hated the wife . Both classic movies

yea..it was prolly easy for her to play that role considering she's a crazy ass super bytch in real life..lol..
