Goodfellas, IMO was The Goat Gangster Flick. The Story just had me more Interested than I was in The Godfather(all of then), Scarface, and any other 1s. Ray Liotta's Situation from when he was a Kid to when he was an Old Head and with how he was just never able to be Made, ducking getting Murked, getting Caught, the Wifey Drama and being a Part Time to a Full Time Coke Head. :ohlawd: Just saw the Longer Version, Director's Cut i think it was during the Summer and it was just Perfection with Piff. Robert De Niro wad Greatness and Joe Pesci was Playing a Great Psychopath as usual. Casino wasn't a Trash Movie but I just liked Goodfellas better. :yeshrug:

2 of my top 5 movies but I give the edge to Casino, Sharon Stone's character is so despicable in that movie that it gets to me, few characters get to me like that.

The hate I have for her makes Casino slightly better.

Joe Pesci killed both.

Hopefully Scorsese is following the Montreal mob situation where about 25 reputable members and a godfather have been killed in the past 3, 4 years, a classic can be made out of this.

To me, Goodfellas is the superior film only because Casino just seems to be another Goodfellas, but set in Vegas. Dont get me wrong, Casino is still a classic film, but I'd take Goodfellas any day.

The characters in Goodfellas are ten times more fully-developed and interesting and unique. the dialogue is priceless ..As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster, One of the greatest opening lines in the history of cinema

I kinda agree, cos its the same actors, but both films are portrayals of real characters and events, so it's not intended to be likd that.

Using different actors would've stopped that I reckon, but Marty loved them two and now Leo seems to bd his go to actor.

Deniro looks bored through most of Casino, i’ll admit to that and him being a simp and then I realized when I watched the documentary so he's actually nailed his character cause The real Sam “Ace” Rothstein is actually a b!tch and simp. Here the picture of him....

. Not to mention and I like the part Goodfellas voiceover for me is the scene where Henry pistol-whips Lorraine Bracco's neighbor. Great scene, right, reall pumped with adrenlaine. And he comes back over to Bracco and gives her the gun to hide, and we see the look on her of excitement, awe, fear, love - and then we have to hear her say no, blabber, “Most of my girlfriends would’ve run, but to tell you the truth I was a little turned on"

The little slick stuff in Goodfellas "They would of never found it, Karen!"*Pounds the wall like 4 good times* while Karen is yelling "NOOOOOO!" like it's the end of all life by not having that easy go to money to covet anymore:laugh:
