Kofi never lit the indy's on fire like those three.
He was plucked to quickly from the indy's to quick.
When he performed with a black female valet.
As WWE did have vision to make Kofi black steamboat and did use him in the same manner they did steamboat.
Yet Kofi never was as good a performer as Owens, caesaro and cena.

Cena is also light years better than Kofi as well.
Cena is just tempered to his mainstream hulk Hogan like booking character and has been doing it so long.
No one remembers when cena was prototype.
Plus looked to be the possible new hogun very early on.
Way before he started to rap.
I was cena's biggest supporter and said he could be Hogan.
That when it happened I had to fall back because of the backlash that hogan like booking brings.
Which of course i know about because I wrote extensively on a fukk Hogan base for close to twenty years now.

nikka rusev sucks.
He is one of the worst smash mouth me big guys on the roster.
If he was not in the WWE.
he would never make it in the indy's to draw to force the wwe's hand.
He and Corbin are the same wackness brought up and given the world cause they fit into vince's wack idea that big is better.
He is as wack as the wack wwf version of nicholai volkoff when compared to the real russina sickle in NWA.

Kofi definitely was nice enough in all aspects originally as a heel with a valet coming up.
Which is why he was plucked so quickly as an asset.
Plus the WWE probably thought they knew how to use black performers a bit better by applying them to clique rules basd around trying to siphon the rock's draw.
Which is why it did not work originally with Kofi.
Till he got his character down being surround by guys in more of a kindred to who he is as a black man.

It does when Art's argument is that Cesaro/KO are better than Kofi because they were indie products, while Kofi was not. Tearing it up on the indies doesn't mean anything beyond you tore it up on the indies. That doesn't make you automatically better than someone who came up in the WWE system, as proven by Rusev.

I actually thought you were just talking about in general, cause in that case, there's probably various 100% WWE guys who haven't panned out, while a good amount of indie guys have made the jump to be stars or simply successful. So still, neither of those go hand in hand, it's really just the individual, or how much the WWE wants you to succeed

Dude started wrestling in the 60s, headlined shows with Bruno in the 70s, and was doing the evil Russian gimmick a decade before Nikita even started wrestling. Nikita was basically the Usos level of next generation star who happened to work out for the good, but let us not act like he was some originator or that the WWF was copying the evil Russian gimmick when they had Nikita's kayfabe uncle as their world champion in the 70s.

This is without taking into consideration that evil Russians/Germans/Japanese gimmicks had been done in wrestling since the 1940s.

Nah..the Rock sold on the comebacks. Austin did. Bret did. Savage of course did. Bryan is a master at it. Mysterio did. Backland. Sting. No one was no selling on that level except Hogan and Taker. I remember one time in 2007 Cena actually just no sold someone's shyt, kicked the ropes like he had enough, and just tried to take his head off. SCUST.

He'd bump around, but he wasn't selling injuries or anything in the match at all. Come on.

The top face always makes a come back that disregards 80% of the match. That's how it has always been. That shyt was around decades before Hogan started doing it.

The whole IWC is obsessed with hating Roman.

Most wrestling fans hate Roman because he generally sucks. No presence or swagger, abysmal on the mic, gets blown up quick in the ring, constantly protected and carried by the best workers in the biz, who then have to job to him. His being Samoan has nothing to do w/ any of that, but Im sure it also doesnt help w the segment of fans who are also racist.

People do that to Cena too though. People here. And in the "old" days of 2002-06 people used to hate HHH to that extent. Wrestling fans are strange like that. I doubt they even view Roman as black. A black wrestler is faaaaaaaaaar below an ethnic wrestler like a Samoan, Mexican or Japanese in the eyes of a neckbeard. If Reigns was a heel he wouldn't get this attration.
