Kofi deserve at least a story line line back when he got over feuding with Orton. Apollo crews just doesn't have it. Booker T deserve a main event push even without belt with a more serious gimmick. The man was legendary, athletic, strong -- looked and was legit.

From a JTG interview with Jim Ross ...
On if there are different rules for black wrestlers compared to white wrestlers:

"From my experience working with the WWE and seeing the history, I'm going to go ahead and say 'yeah' because as of right now, I haven't seen a wrestler that identifies as black as the WWE Champion and there's no reason for that. They say that The Rock is black, and, yes, he is black, but he's not identified as black. He's more identified as Samoan. And we've had black wrestlers who definitely could have been WWE Champion, but we still haven't had one to this day and I'd love to know why."

Tho nothing has ever been proven. Wrestlers like Booker T, Ron Simmons, and The Rock need to come out, but they won't. They gained too much from wCw and wWE. All they would say is that thsoe who worked hard get good rewards.

Most wrestling fans hate Roman because he generally sucks. No presence or swagger, abysmal on the mic, gets blown up quick in the ring, constantly protected and carried by the best workers in the biz, who then have to job to him. His being Samoan has nothing to do w/ any of that, but Im sure it also doesnt help w the segment of fans who are also racist.

Literally none of this is true. He was universally supported from the time he showed up on NXT for a couple of shows all the way up until the internet realized he really was going to get the main event push instead of Daniel Bryan. Add in that shytty Punk shoot podcast (which also tanked Ryback's career), and WWE audiences being trained for a decade that you're supposed to boo the top face, and you have the Roman situation. He gets so much hyper criticism for EVERYTHING he possibly does. It's ludicrous. Dude is a top talent, never blows up but does sell and gets accused of being slow/tired because of it, and internet dudes are just waiting for any reason to snap at him, yet always pop during his big matches.

At this point it's just going on momentum. My theory is that a lot of the current audience of smarks missed out on the start/first few years of Cena and want to live that life with Roman. Probably were kids when Cena came along and they liked him, and now they want to rebel against the system like petulant punks.

Roman was the most popular member of Shield the entire time it existed.

The Rock doesn't have to do a damn thing. he doesn't own the WWE. He trailblazed. Now if the guys like Kofi and Big E won't sit on their hands and let them say Cena and Blandy are better than them? If they would rather dance and C00n it up instead of taking their spot like Rock did? Then they didn't learn anything from his run at all. And JTG is absolutely stupid saying Rock is seen as Samoan when they got him ALL OVER the fukking banner for every single Black History month before Ron Simmons or Booker T.

Lmao hiding during triple threats....when every triple threat for about 20 years now always has one guy laying out while the other two do spots, and rotate in and out.

But nah, Roman is the first dude to do this because he's lazy and out of shape. He's also the first face to win every match and beat guys who can do stuff better than him. He's a real trailblazer, when you think about it.

WHOA...Roman has BLOWN up quite a few times. In Rumble matches and hiding during Triple Threats....lol. Are you kidding me? Looked like Ryback had better stamina for awhile.

They said Naomi only got this far because she's sleeping with one of Rikishi's son.

:leostare:

Don't even get me started on Roman. They wish death and injuries on this dude. That was too much for me and I got a pretty demented sense of humor, but umm...:dame::whoa:

that's why I stay here only for message board wrestling talk, its WAY too personal/serious to some of these dudes on other boards. i've read around on certain other wrestling boards and I left completely understanding the stigma we all get unfairly grouped to be a part of.

More like the same fans either stopped watching because of Cena or didnt like him and now they see the company doing the same thing with Roman - pushing a hand-selected guy that is short on talent and charisma to the detriment of the entire product.

Faces winning every match and beating more talented opponents consistently is not a good thing, its shytty booking. Its always been one of Vince's problems and it remains a problem with Roman.

He IS, however, more protected than anyone in history. That nonsense at the Rumble, thats not common. What, youre gonna tell me that wasnt to give Roman a break while the talented wrestlers carried the match? :camby:

But it was ok when they strapped the rocket to Bryan and had him go over multiple stables, Cena, etc. Got it.
They never strapped the rocket to Bryan. They should have because he was super talented and super over. Instead they strap it to someone minimally talented and the opposite of over, because Vince likes how he looks.
So why do so many of those same fans love Ambrose so much?
He's better than Roman and an indy darling. WWE has tried hard to make him look bad but fans are too smart for that now. Internet smarks = people in the crowds, its the same people in 2016.

This is a smark narrative :dead:

Bryan had the highest television win percentage in the company when he retired. :dead:

For a guy that's been literally drenching himself in the Rock's sweat for years, you know damn well the WWE has only played up his black side during some of his time with the Nation, and the majority of the rest of the time it's playing up his Samoan heritage. His black heritage is always mentioned in passing nature. And don't even get me started on them running almost the same Black History highlight vids as they were running a decade ago :mjlol:
