My graphics card didn't support HDMI 2.1 therefore I can't use G-Sync with my gaming PC. This means I have to play my games with vertical sync and at 60hz. I tried to play Gears 5 and just cut it off I couldn't do it. PS5 is playing lovely though so I guess I'm going back to console only until I get a new graphics card.

Best Buy restocked and I saw the price and I was like damn graphics card cost just as much as it did to build my original gaming PC in 2016. I tried to get the 3080 TI and it wouldn't let me do a store pick up in my area.

I guess I might as well build a whole new computer and play my PS5 till then...damn I didn't count on not having GSYNC and 120HZ. :mjcry:

I've been rolling with the GTX 1080TI for years now at 1440p and it's been real good to me. I finally decided to go 4k and the graphic card market is a damn mess.

The thrill of pc gaming :blessed:
The 3000 series cards support hdmi 2.1, which came out 2 months before the xbox series x n ps5.

hdmi 2.1 didnt even exist when the 2000 series cards dropped.

I got a 3090 and I can do 4k at over 100 fps for damn near every game not named RDR2...

I got the 3090 in January at retail price though...don't go looking for what a 3090 cost now :whoa:
Lol anyone with a 3090 would look for 2.1 first. So we know he ain’t talking that high. 3070 tops probably

All you have to do is get a Display Port to HDMI connector and you can use GYSNC with the 1080ti on the C9

also why are you even using VSYNC for that's hindering your performance

the C9 supports 1080 and 1440p output, you use VYSNC is for when the frames are higher than the fresh rate

The 1080ti doesn't support 4k120hz but it does support 1440p 120hz so just set your desktop to 1440p and you can use HDMI
