Saw 3 in the last week.

Ion know brehs, I think it might be catching on. Been seeing older white dudes driving them, the types who look like they drive a Tahoe M-Sat, and have a GTO in the garage for Sun. Like the design or hate it, the car has presence when you see it on the street.

I may be wrong, Kia may have hit the mark. My neighbor just copped a hot red joint and it does stand out and he is a German lover, he has an Audi Q7 and an a 1995 Z3 Convertible he drives in the summer. I also saw a few at the Costco parking lot last weekend.

Personally I feel the car did deliver. Once I heard that Peter Schreyer was going to spearhead design, and then ex BMW ///M division engineer was also joining, i was excited.

But I knew no matter how good it would be driving/tech wise, that people were going to turn their nose up on the badge - and this is where I feel Kia fukked up. They knew this. Everyone knew this. So why did they badge Kia all over the thing outside of one badge that says Stinger? It should, if anything, have only said Stinger throughout the car - similar to what their cousins at Hyundai did with the Genesis model, which then became a brand of it's own. Not saying Stinger should be it's own brand, just the presentation on this car.

Sad part people will still pay same money for a lower model/lower performing German car (A4/C300/328) - but that's just the way it is. Funny part is it is German all through. c panel is A7/S5 Sportback, vents and door buttons are current Mercedes, center console layoit is current gen BMW/Audi.

Not even sure what the target market is here but hope it does well. Lease rate, atleast here in Canada, is absolute shyt.
Breh i'm in Vaughan/Woodbridge

Saw at least 4 in my neighborhood. Its very intriguing. But that price :hhh:

My lease is coming to an end soon so i'm scouting.

Over in B-Town. Definitely has a nice road presence when rolling.

Price can be rough once you get up to the loaded GT Limited, but even still it's 25K less than what I paid for my loaded C43 lol. Crazy.

Rates don't seem to bad now 3.99 up to 84. But again, will be tough to gauge how it will depreciate. Could be upside down for a good bit.

Burger Motorsports love the car though, it's like their main focus for their JB4 piggyback.

Funny thing is, I'm currently planning to get rid of my current car in the next year or so and this car is on the shortlist so I've been on a few Stinger forums and there's currently a work around where you lease and just as you're making the first month's lease payment enter a lease buyout and you essentially get $10k off. You're basically getting a 2019 for 32-33k. which is :whew:

Shop I take my car to is right around the corner of the Warden/7 Kia. They always have like 5 or more Stingers on the lot. Don't know if CDN dealers will be as aggressive as the ones in the US but may be worth a shot. 10k off on the Limited :leon: do it

Only thing I'd be wary about is that people complain about rattles in the interior.

Other than that, many of Kia/Hyundai's top performance engineers are former BMW guys. One of the guys I met used to be the head engineer at BMW M.

They are good cars but I understand the hesitancy.

Thats basically what i did.(leasebuyout)

I have a fully loaded 2018 gt2 and got like 8k off and im very satisfied. More speed than u can really use(165+mph stock and ppl gettin like very low 4s 0-60 with a tune), good room (4seats with hatchback), looks good, all the safety and driving features and comfort i need, nice sound system.

A lot of ppl seem to like the car. Ive had soo many ppl strike up conversations or compliment it. from model type dimes to 90yr old women, from little kids to older men, to young brehs feelin inspired to random soccer moms.

Im sure some ppl in here will hate cuz its a kia or because they prefer cars in a whole.different price bracket, but just do your own research. Ive got 10k miles on mine now and i like the car even more than i imagined..

I'm close to convincing myself to cop a 2020 Stinger GT2 now:scheme:
I sold my BMW 1 year ago and bought a Prius:palm: cash so I could 1. Pay off my student loan and 2. Save a lil since I was planning on transferring work. Fast forward to today, loan is paid in full:hula:...and corona hit:dry: so im still stuck here in the bay for at least another year. I sacrificed a year with a Prius:unsure:...time to get back. I need something to hold me down for 3 years before I get my pre 40:old: Porsche I always said I'd buy. Seen someone with this at a store and after talking with the dude I'm convinced...
