Tinashe is my girl and I agree that it’s probably a label issue. She doesn’t have a real sound. Her debut album was kinda all over the place from r&b to pop music. I think they went that way because it was the beginning of the singles era and they just wanted anything that would spark. But artists need a sound or style to be identified with. Not to mention she then went overboard on selling sex. She’s talented and should have had a more organized approach.

I keep meaning to listen to HER but forgetting. She’s talented but boring.

If you hear joe budden, breakfast club,hot97,rap radar etc always talk about certain artists or see these artist almost everywhere but really don't hear people listening to these artist as much as theyre always talking about them; 98% they're palnts they're probably plants .
