He had the absolute worst title reign in AEW history and really the worst title reign of any champion in the last 15 years or so
He's in some weird feud right now where his health is being questioned by everyone on a weekly basis - I don't know if he's really hurt or not, but its making him look like the biggest p*ssy ever
He has negative charisma
Punked out on National TV by Punk
Horrible Promo Skills

Guess we're conveniently leaving out the fact he still gets loud pops and the story of him getting to the point of winning the title is one of the better stories told in the industry during that time period and the fact Sourpuss Punk got his panties in a bunch by something he said in a promo that no one said was offensive to anyone.

You can say that but it just absolutely isn't true :heh:

he’s actually the highest drawing champion in AEW history. His main event vs Adam Cole did numbers

That’s what the Stan’s tell me

But the correct answer is Danielson. He‘s the biggest star they’ve ever had (Pre Sasha) walked into the company with 3 million followers, and he managed to carve out the least memorable run possible and do absolutely nothing for AEW’s brand

Cena/Reigns part 5 was captivating?
Bianca being squashed in 30 seconds was thrilling?
Charlotte Flair winning 3 titles in 3 months fresh and exciting?

That's what was going on with WWE at the time, but Hangman Page's storyline wasn't worth rooting for. fukk outta here

Gotta agree with the FTR and Bryan points, especially Bryan

Its great AEW didnt run bucks/ftr into the ground but for them to be the champion of champions for tag teams 3 different companies at the same time and absolutely NOTHING comes of that. Flop…..just a big flop.

Tony letting Bryan come in on some I just wanna wrestle shyt :beli: yeah you can do all that after the first year or 2 but starting out….we using that star power

He is my least favorite AEW Champion. I just don't/didn't get his push. Yeah he was over but it felt forced and they just gave him the belt. It wasn't organic, it just felt like he was handed the thing because people chant Cowboy shyt.

But as for worst title run in 15 years? Really? Mahal? Mysterio's 5 minute WWE Championship run? Del Rio? Tessa FUKKING Blanchard? Yeah, remember them?

Bryan was never gonna move the needle much. Him being squandered by TK is absolutely true, and he for sure is a lesser star for AEW right now than when he debuted. But even if he had beaten Hangman early last year and went on to have a lengthy title run, I highly doubt he would've moved business that much (it probably doesn't take the hit it took in the 2nd semester but that ain't saying much).

It is curious though that this thread is about Page and all the momentum Dragon had coming into AEW was used to it's maximum to put Hangman over....and then TK did jackshyt with it :dead:

Not one promo or match is ever posted about this garbage ass “storyline”. Imagine people saying Austin vs McMahon is the goat story but never dropping links to anything that has to do with it :mjlol:
