I mean, this is something I thought of after seeing the season finale of Ozark years ago when they got Ruth, but never said anything about it or made a youtube video. It's just hard to believe that Puff didn't know with Gene Deal warning him. Once again, that's just my opinion and I never heard it from anyone, but I just believe that to be true. It's actually believable.

Puff needed to be able to do business in LA to be a successful mogul. With Biggie gone, he was allowed to move freely. He definitely had motive to get Big out the way.
