Amsterdam is a top 3 song of the year and one of his best songs ever so I really disagree with you.

Rich Forever is a solid argument for Mixtape of the Year tho
I swear the lifetime for albums to be digested is getting smaller and smaller these days.
I'm still bumping GFID and im sure the clubs are playing that "Hold Me Back" record too. You are right in the sense that none of the singles have hit like B.M.F did, but BMF IMO will go down has one the songs of the year/era when its all said and done. It was always gonna be hard for Ross to follow that up.
I def. think his more soulful grown man stuff is at its peak on this album and its def. the Ross I prefer to hear. "Diced Pineapples, Amsterdam, MMIV, Ten Jesus Pieces, 3 Kings". All them joints are heat. And his lyrics, concepts, production have all improved. I dont know what people are talmbout he regressed and he needs to go back to DTR.
I think if he trimmed the album down, cut Touch N You and that song with omarion, and went with presidental and diced (Put that has the single minus the corny spoken word bs) has his commerical/girl tracks, the haters might be chirpin' a different tune.
For me its right behind TD in his catalog.
Its been like 3 months. I dont think this album needs more time to "digest" than that
Im glad you liked it
Honestly I could care less what clubs are playing. Im judging the album on its musical merits and I found it underwhelming.
In what ways did you think Ross evolved on this aside from stepping up the beats and features?
When is it okay for me to have an opinion on it then?i don't know if i agree or disagree, but shyt dropped july 31. stop being a lame, it's been barely two months. my aoty i need to be able to go back to 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months later, and still enjoy the shyt to relatively the same extent at all those different times.
