lol better than blood money ? :laff: you werent a fan of hitman series then.

You are obviously not a fan of the series. Contract mode is Blood Money. :mindblown: You are probably one of those "Assassin's Creed" is a true Stealth Game players. Probably never even touched Thief.

Visually, and control-wise Absolution is great and better than any Hitman before it. That was always the issue, fussy controls and shytty hit-detection. Bland character models. Absolution fixed that. The game feels great and looks even better.

A better engine doesnt make it a better game tho. Blood Moneys worst levels are better than most of the Absolution levels. Even the story in BM was more entertaining and surprising

Im telling you, if they make a DLC with more levels like Chinese New Year and Streets of Hope (best levels in this game), it could be a classic. Im just not feeling the story-driven Uncharted-style point-A-to-point-B levels.

Some awesome levels are broken into small parts of larger missions which is frustrating when you want to replay certain bits. And then, an entire mission might involve you killing one single person in a desert and then getting back in your car...end of mission lol

Tell me you waited for the dude to get hit by the ice cream truck in the desert....Crazy...I don't care what anyone says ANY GAME THAT LETS YOU KILL KANE AND LYNCH IS GAME OF THE YEAR!!!

the suburbia level from BM >>>> any level here :manny:

I just dont like the linearity and handholding. let me find less obvious methods myself.
let me infiltrate something like a fukking boss and not some dude on the run the cops are ALWAYS hostile to...

hitman series to me...are more of adventure games than action/stealth. and when I say adventure...I mean point and click adventures with puzzles

I aint trying to sway anyones opinion tho...let us agree to disagree

biggest problem with purist mode...is that youre detected instantly. so theres not even a point for wearing disguise. you still have to hug walls like a bytch, hide in closets and other shyt

Id expect it from thief, deus ex, sc and games like that...but not hitman.

we even have hand-to-hand combat here like its fukking arkham city :why:

Wrong. you dont know how to play the game. Im playing the game on purist mode and in the train station, i walked out the front door, past the 2 cops and into the crowd. If you keep your back turned to the cops with the flashlights, they wont see you. If they see your profile or your face while they are facing you, you are toast. Once one of them turned his back and the other was walking toward the railing, i quickly slipped past them and to the edge of the train station to avoid detection from a cop on the opposite end near the subway control station. I kept my back turned to him and quickyl moved to the side of the control station building before the cop closest to the stairs walked past me. I strafed along the edge of the building and slipped into the subsway station, ducking so the cop inside (closest to the door) did not see me.

I made a noise, attracted the cop inside the subway station and then i knocked his bytch ass out. I then walked up the ladder to the subway control area, choking the administrator and stuffing his body in a crate. The ruckus i caused knocking the cop out brought the attention of the cops on the 2nd floor subway area and they left their posts to see what happened. I activated the train, and then walked outside so i could catch my train.

THis is an area that would normally havea heavy police presence, but since the cops were busy attending to other matters, i was able to walk the first long walkway before making a left hand turn which takes you down stairs to a more crowded area. Right when i got to the end of the first long walkway, all the cops began to return from the ruckus i caused. I turned my back to them, blended in with the crowd close to the railing, and they all walked right past me. I turned around and began to walk towards the downstairs area. I used instincts to walk past one nosy cop who was all in my mouth and finally got to the bottom of the stairs. I blended in with the crowd, and walked to the end of the station area, my train came, and i got on. :youngsabo:

You not doin it right. You know what YSE, i dont think you're a real hitman bruh.

The Suburbia level was okay but the City of Hope got it beat and the Gun Range level on Absolution kills it. I just found the damn room at the end of the firing range with keycard lock. I came out of there with that gun like the Terminator. Shot Lynch about 100 times..just because! :leostare:

:salute:THANK YOU! That's all I have to say. Dudes are giving up too easy. This game is lot harder than Blood Money. They should give out prize money for anyone who beat the game on the hardest difficulty and got Silent Assassin on the Last three stages!

Yes you are being labeled a traitor for turning your back on Hitman! :birdman: But being an old school pc gamer I can understand your frustration. And the suburbia level in Blood Money can be beat in two minutes if you take the sniper rifle across the street to the garage. Its so simple. But digress you are shytting on a good Hitman game. Its not fair and its not right...lol (Puts Fungi Fish poisoning in your food) :gag:

Ive never said this game was EASY

its hard as fukk in fact.

the point is most difficulty is in the stealth elements.

Blood money had the shortest and easiest missions out of any hitman.
I dont know about that (first one had lots of pointless running in the jungle), but even so, theyre the most fun and have tons of different ways of going about things

the fun in the series was exploring and figuring shyt out yourself. not the difficulty of the actual kills

but thats the point. to explore all the ways of dealing with things. bm gave you freedom of what to do. its a sandbox. you can deal with the fbi guys and fukk up their donuts. dress up as a clown. or a pool boy. each way has something interesting to it

you can light up the grill with lighter fluid and get the film or you can wait for it as a pool boy. theres like three ways of getting rid of the dog.

you can do it by using brute force
you can do it by almost not using stealth at all
you can do it by some creative thinking and exploring
you can do it by stealth
