was watching Al Jazeera America and from what they were reporting the mayoral office has had it's power severely curtailed by the state in the wake of the emergency bankruptcy so let's see how long that drags out and how those two work together.

Well he won the election. Now comes the REALITY of Detroit. And since he has to work with the Emergency Manager, I don't see him doing much to change the city that the manager can't do. But these City Council Meetings with the New Mayor are going to be...interesting.
