Prayers go out to the woman and child but it could have been even more horrifying what if he went and shot up the other players and coaches.

i bet they end up cancelling the game before its all said and done

Not saying dude was a saint or the devil, point is, 2 people were killed and the coach saw his own player blow his brains out and his teammates got to be thinking that

But that means nothing compared to the advertisement dollars and ticket sales they'd be missing out on

I'm sure there was a discussion with Coach Crennell and he agreed to go forward as scheduled.

I would be mad if working at an NFL stadium on Sundays was my part time job and they rescheduled the game to another day I couldn't work, causing me to lose money right before Christmas because a player killed them self.

It's rough, but yes the show must go on. Athletes have to be professional, many more people have a lot to lose if the game doesn't go on as scheduled.

Exactly. One person shouldn't stop the show. Millions of dollars of advertisment, concessions, parking, vendor revenue would be lost. Why should everybody else suffer fror the actions of 1idiot?

"After discussions between the league office, Head Coach Romeo Crennel and Chiefs team captains, the Chiefs advised the NFL that it will play tomorrow’s game vs. the Carolina Panthers at its originally scheduled time.”

It's kinda funny reading people's reactions to this.

If this happened in an office building they'd close shop at least for a couple of days, but in the NFL people are saying "the show must go on"

The athletes and coaches and GMs are people too
