we can prolly put george foreman on the list..only ko'ed once and during his second run was never even dropped once
my problem with the terms power and chin is how do you define it. boxing is a sport that is hundreds of years old and still theres no clear understanding of what these things are. my theory is that they dont actually exist and we just use these terms to as a quick explanation of something much more complex, something that would need to be explained by a physicist to be accurate.
i agree that paulie isnt a big puncher because he is never set but heres a video of paulie hurting juan diaz
Paulie Malignaggi Hurts Juan Diaz - YouTube
what i note from it in particular is that it was during a sequence where diaz is in the process of throwing a punch at the same exact time. theres something about this sequence of events in boxing which is either adding power or reducing chin or some combination of both that we dont understand
Everyone has Excellent choices, especially @patscorpio so there aren't many boxers left, let me add Sugar Shane, Vitali, and Holyfield.
Breh when Forrest hit him with that uppercut I thought his soul left his body and dude was up and atom like nothing happened.
I remember that shyt. Forrest probably hit him with the greatest punch he ever through and Shane still was on his feet.

Shane Mosley knocked down. - YouTube
i never believed there was ever really such a thing as chin just that some fighters anticipate and roll with the direction of the shot better and do not leave there chin up. i never really thought there was such a thing as power either, only accuracy and a combination of catching fighters with their head in bad position such as when fighters get caught in the middle of trying to throw a punch which is what almost every true ko always results from. its extremely rare for a ko to not come during the sequence of another fighter trying to throw a punch at that exact same time which tells me that chin is not a function of being born with special traits but a perfect storm of factors revolving around positioning and timing
James Toney - Im watching his career from the beginning right now, im about 25 fights deep. I've already seen all his fights a few times, just one of the toughest dudes in general to ever step into a boxing ring.
If he came around now instead of the late 80's i think he'd walk right through all these middleweights. And he did keep that great chin up until the 2nd Sam Peters fight but he was fighting injured getting caught with punches he usually wouldnt get caught with. He needed surgery a week after that fight
Pernell Whitaker - Wasnt the hardest guy to knock down but I think Trinidad was the only guy to hurt an old, coke sniffin Whitaker. Sweet Pete was a tough mean little guy. Most people dont think of Pernell when they think of great chins and most of the boxers already mentioned are probably ahead of him but he deserves his respect. Pernell got robbed against chavez SR and in my opinion he beat a young De La Hoya. Lets not forget up until Whitaker, most of Oscars opponents were knocked out including Chavez Sr
