another one was juan laporte...dude fought some brutal punchers that failed to drop him..it took a volume puncher at the tail eend of his career to finally stop him
I watched that Rosario fight again a couple weeks ago. Camacho was staggered a couple times but never went down. I'll watch the DLH fight again, but I don't remember him getting knocked down.Camacho was knocked down by De la hoya and rocked numerous times against Rosario...that fight is the reason why hector changed his fighting style to what everyone knows

Yea that Rosario fight made him hesitant to trade, but when he did and got hit and hit hard, he didn't go down.
i never believed there was ever really such a thing as chin just that some fighters anticipate and roll with the direction of the shot better and do not leave there chin up. i never really thought there was such a thing as power either, only accuracy and a combination of catching fighters with their head in bad position such as when fighters get caught in the middle of trying to throw a punch which is what almost every true ko always results from. its extremely rare for a ko to not come during the sequence of another fighter trying to throw a punch at that exact same time which tells me that chin is not a function of being born with special traits but a perfect storm of factors revolving around positioning and timing

my problem with the terms power and chin is how do you define it. boxing is a sport that is hundreds of years old and still theres no clear understanding of what these things are. my theory is that they dont actually exist and we just use these terms to as a quick explanation of something much more complex, something that would need to be explained by a physicist to be accurate.I disagree breh. There are some guys who are super accurate punchers, but just are pillow fisted.
Paulie is a great boxer with great technical ability and crisp punches..but dude has zero pop in his hands. Same thing with Ivan Calderon. Some guys have it and some dont.
I've seen guys take absolute bombs and not go down. It really depends on the placement of the shot like you said, but with some dudes its just a matter of will.
Good post though
Yes! A middleweight that heavy's can't stop. His chin is so great to the point it's probably a detriment.
