My understanding of all of these doom and gloom threads is that when Trump got in office, we would all lose our jobs and be thrown out on the streets. Police would then round us up, beat us, murder us, and face no charges. Our children would be left to fend for themselves and of course be turned into slaves.

All of this unhinged talk is similar to the doom and gloom we heard when Obama was elected. The country would be turned over to this or that group. It's the end.

It's all bullshyt. Focus on family, culture, education. The blueprint is always the same.

-I've also set goals inside & outside my work & I've been meeting them. My life hasn't crumbled & if shyt does crumble I'm good for a couple years. I'm thinking about my kids, family & Black people beyond myself. How good I'm doing personally has no bearing on the basis of my hatred for my enemy.

Then you need to focus on making sure they turn into competitive and meaningful citizens. That's the whole thing, if your kids are competitive, they will thrive in this type of system.

-I don't keep my family & culture intact by ignoring the people that wanna disable it. My kids are grown with a strong support system but they still have to survive the future, as do my grandkids. As a father no matter how good it is I want it better for them. I don't think trump will pull off all the bullshyt he wants to but the intent is there & others will try to succeed where he fails.
-The reality is being competitive alone doesn't mean you'll thrive, it never has & never will. Competitive people die broke on a daily basis. I try to teach them to focus on education & awareness along with it to get the edge.

I get what you trynna say but 2 things? Just cuz it’s not happening or happened to you dont mean it hasnt happened to other folks. As we literally see news of people losing their jobs or “Trump and Musk firing folks”

Shoot if Im keeping it 100, some folks at my job just got let go today. Some folks I was pretty cool with and folks a lot of us thought was safe and secure.

And rumor has it they may not be done. This coming off the tail of a town hall 7 weeks back or so our company president said we would be fine.

I’ll be honest about one mote thing in Trumps last term from the bullshyt he was on, I had lost the job I had of 6 years at that time.

Luckily I was able to get back on my feet but it’s hard for me to trust in anything good coming from in the job industry and some folks making mockery of the so called “Doom and Gloom” hits a little bit differently when Im seeing people lose their liveyhoods
