Again, Trump is a WEAPON that people wield against those they hate.

He's not a smart businessman. His businesses are cons that have all flopped. Trump steaks, Trump University, Trump Casinos, and even the hotels are trash.

That's just what they say so they don't feel bad about what this is really about. They are motivated by hate. They hate black people, they hate alphabet people, they hate Muslims, they hate Latinos that aren't from the specific country they're from and aren't following their specific version of Christianity or share the same economic status. It's hate that motivates people to support him. When they see people being afraid of what he will do, that reaffirms their belief that he's an effective tool.

These are people who think they have a gun, but really they're holding a grenade and have just pulled the pin and are standing in front of everyone they hate. If it blows up, sure, they'll kill those people but also turn themselves into soup in the process. But emotion overrides reason. Most Trump supporters are motivated by their emotions, not logic. If they valued logic and reason they'd look through his history and realize this is a man who is only motivated by his ego and only offers pain to people who he sees as beneath him(black people, poor people, women, alphabet people, the disabled, immigrants from non white countries)

Thing is, people here wanted that around the late 1800s until the government stomped it out by going scorched earth on anything that challenged capitalism. FDR got it going again for a bit but the red scare really stopped anything from growing

If the Dems more centrist they could take more votes but the past 8 - 12 years we've seen more in fighting with the Democrats between the old guard and the far left wing.

I wonder how Democrats can look like a party that cares about social progress and general welfare for people while not going after every fringe issues to garner votes.


Republicans seem more "sane" to people with the American ethos of working hard, being pro family, etc. I'm in Texas and I will say that there are HUGE flaws with it being republican ran. Ted Cruz needs to get out. Still people move here for the economic opportunities

The issue is aligning to labor means wanting smoke with the Corporations and they need those sweet corporate dollars for elections (and to be a bought and paid for politician ) so they cant adopt too radical of a pro Labor posture.
