But, but, but, but Melo is a terrible teammate

A lot of it goes to his charity work, that dude is committed to helping out the inner-city youth and low income families.

Also he took a lot of the heat this past season and every season since he got here, but always stayed composed. Really a great guy in some terrible circumstances.

Read that the Knicks are considering Goodwin and/or Jarret Jack. When Goodwin had that brief run of starts, I really thought he was gonna be a breakout player but that flopped. He's only 22 or 23...Last roster spot for him over the guys that got blown out in Summer League? I'm with that, there's a Hornacek connection. Jarret Jack meanwhile is off knee injury, but he'd make a great locker room voice. The only thing is on court impact, Idk after the injury and aging; but another vet PG guiding Frank sounds good.

So I'd lean Goodwin even though he's yet to progress...he's young, athletic, can handle the rock and somehow wound up getting chunks of PG time (he's an SG imo). But I kinda get the Jack decision, if he's back to normal he'll be better than Sessions.

Man I always liked Jack, he's a great leader and accepts any role within an organization. And he will get you points and can run an offense.

They'll probably go with youth though, Sessions is such a weird signing.

I also think we have to start Hardaway over Lee.

I think they'll go young as well. With Sessions, they had said they wanted a vet PG to help Frank out, so I got that one. Jack with health is a better option though, even as a back-up he was always a player I enjoyed seeing out there. Hardaway over Lee is a must, agreed. He's paid too much to come off the bench. Line-up minus a Melo trade is pretty odd, bench is kinda potent (that's not a good thing because I want a top 3 pick).

Frank/Sessions
THJ/Lee/Dotson
Melo/Lance/Kuz
KP/Beasley
Willy/KOQ

Plus Baker and Randle

The Knicks should be looking to move Lee and open up the logjams at the Guard positions imo and that's regardless of Melo deal...since all of a sudden that looks unlikely.
