Well time has proven that games not made by Nintendo are almost garenteed to flop on Nintendo systems so why would developers put money into it?

The Wii U is more like the PS3. you have to build games from the ground up to run on it to get them to run well. the CPU isn't inferior to the 360 / PS3's CPU its just designed differently and some of the work is supposed to be offloaded to the GPU to be more efficient.
