Son. When shyt is in the line of fire and ur INVOLVED with something. It’s not like these nikkas was detectives. U speaking on some hindsight shyt. There is things that both these cats could’ve done differently to avoid issue. Period.

the fact is the song was created by Biggie & Keith Murray for Mary J Blige around July/August 1994 literally 3 to 4 months before the quad studio incident November 1994 .... thereafter the Vibe interviews in January 1995 your man insinuated they had knowledge of the set up a month later puff release the song in February 1995 (the only reason he released it was because of the title to the song) if the title was something completely different he never would’ve released it
so I don’t understand what these facts have to do with your original statement
Just to let you know you have to take the actual article with a grain of salt because as I said plenty of times the original interview which was recorded by Kevin Powell whom Said himself and these words came directly out of his own mouth that they had to heavily edited from the original interview because of legal reasons and more importantly street reasons because your man Use plenty of these dudes government names with their criminal activities

This is the chain of events. Pac gets locked up. Pac starts calling Biggie and a bunch of people to get answers. Biggie dodged PAC’s calls for his own personal reasons. Certain people didn’t visit him for whatever reasons they had. No ID etc etc. A little time goes by. Pac is being told that the people he was dealing with(Haitian Jack etc etc) are possible govt informants by his legal council. Pac is pissed and ends up doing an interview with Vibe. Done deal. Interview didn’t release yet tho. E Money Bags comes to visit Pac. Tells Pac Biggie ain’t know shyt. Pac is on some “word? U don’t think he knew?..”. E Money Bags says no. Now THIS is where shyt gets funny and mixed up. The Vibe interview releases. Certain people feel a way. Such as Stretch, Biggie, etc etc. They drop Who Shot Ya?(it was made before the incident but capitalized off the drama). LL drops the B Side “I Shot Ya”. Feat Prodigy, Fat Joe, Keith Murray, Foxy Brown. Then Puffy does the Vibe interview basically clowning Pac. Then Biggie n Stretch n them do Fab Five Freddy basically clowning Pac and calling him a liar etc etc. Basically insinuating that he didn’t even get shot as many times(this is in complete conflict of the doctor and police reports at the time, as well as the commissioner press conference. This is also where the rumor that he didn’t get shot and only shot himself started.). Pac gets wind of this. So Pac gets furious. This is all while he’s still locked up. Biggie and Stretch start hanging out and everyone is still hanging with Jimmy. Pac sees this and gets more furious. Then random rappers started choosing and dissing Pac on they records, such as Chino XL etc etc. Wendy Williams starts spreading rumors. It just becomes a whole mess. Snoop and DPG make a video in NY and Biggie hops on the radio which basically gets their trailer shot up. DPG drops the NY NY video kicking down the buildings. The Source awards happen and we know what happened there. And Pac eventually gets out and signs to Death Row. Pac automatically had a plan to diss the fukk out of all of Bad Boy and Biggie when he got out. The rest of Death Row was dissing Biggie and Bad Boy as well. Even Dr Dre. Then all the fukkery happens on Death Row that would be too long to get into. But yea.

With his full description, pinpoint details & subtle references it’s no way in the world anybody’s going to convince me that he wasn’t the ringleader to the set up *the little nuances of his story ei. where he parked his car, going into Sbarro’s pizza shop with his 2 soldiers down the street from Quad , telling them to stay put before going into the studio to chop it up with jimmy for the setup
@kingofnyc not sure ... am kinda torn 50/50 ... Zayd was there sober and seen the whole thing ... he seems pretty convinced dexter wasn’t there ... Zayd said he seen those same individuals involved in the quad studio shyt 2 years later on the same train as him.... dno am but conflicted on it

Oh as far as him saying he done with the whole Thug Life shyt? Yea I could see him tryna say the shyt was done with for leniency with the jail shyt. Smart move. But in reality there was no more Thug Life. I mean he still hung wit nikkas and he put Syke down with the Outlawz but he was tryna build the Outlaw Immortalz.
After Pac got shot and locked up, he participated in a Vibe interview while at Clinton Correctional Facility, in which he said that “Thug Life” was dead:
I’m going to save these young nikkas, because nobody else wants to save them. Nobody ever came to save me. They just watch what happen to you. That’s why Thug Life to me is dead. If it’s real, then let somebody else represent it, because I’m tired of it.

biggies actions in this whole beef was a reaction or response to pac whom started it : in my humble opinion I don’t think anything said or done by biggie he was disrespectful until that summer of 1996 when ‘hit em up’ came out and as they say in politics this is where the boxing gloves come off ... so anything thereafter was pretty much fair game
again, If it’s not a Biggie / Tupac thread we probably agree on 95% of everything else

but I can tell you as I said over and over and over biggie went on a promo tour to promote his album and to introduce his new group Junior M.A.F.I.A. so he wasn’t even in town for that month and a half before the infamous vibe interview and I believe this was one of his shows in Canada
this was the only puff Vibe interview at that time ; But unfortunately like I said this interview was done in 1996 roughly 8 months after pac was released from jail : this was released after ‘hit em up’
