both X and Snoop for t he most part made strategic/good choices to counter each other.

I was never a Ja fan but he had undeniable hits and features and they totally lowballed him and DMX. Some of the songs they were nodding their head to, especially Rosenberg, was stuff that no one who was actually outside would be getting hyped over
