He’s an MC, but he’s not as good as a lot of direct peers nor legends he does tracks with. Fab has nice tracks, but he’s a relative footnote looking back, and that’ll also be the case for a lot of people’s current faves. The difference is, Fab was never considered some elite top tier dude. Time will not be too kind to people like Uzi, Lil Baby, Young Thug (lol), etc, dudes whose fans actually do put them in an elite category. It’s like being the best player on the Knicks.

I thin the whole notion that X was awarded wins due to East Coast bias is bogus. This had nothing to do with region. I do think some of those rounds they awarded to X were suspect to say the least, but X NEEDED the win more than Snoop. This is the biggest look X has gotten in years and he's been working on new music and needs the hype and this battle probably inspired him seeing all the support he's gotten from it.
