The Doggfather gets a really bad rep. It was too long and following up on Doggystyle was always going to be a huge ask but it had some great songs that I still enjoy.

Doggfather is a weed plate. Can’t think of a worse follow up to a classic album. Snoop is lucky that P and No Limit shot him a life line.

you gotta understand at the time Snoops follow up was almost as anticipated as Doggystyle was

Pac and Biggie has already surpassed him in popularity by '96 and he kinda had to reclaim his throne but he came up short
