nobody mixes in mono. they're checking to see how the tracks would blend on different systems with different speaker configurations

the great (and unfortunate) thing about the internet is that no matter how inconsequential the truth may be, somebody will be there ready to fight tooth and nail for it. congratulations, you... linked a video from some rando's channel.

there are people out there who wipe their ass back to front. if dr dre enjoys getting shyt on his balls, are you gonna start wiping that way too?

i could drive my subaru with 2 flat tires to test the suspension. maybe i'll go try that



mixing in mono is stupid because it downmixes multiple channels into one which converts information like panning into volume.* if you went into the project intending to record monaurally (yes, some people DO actually do this, but the entire process is mono) that would be fine. we can keep nitpicking this if you really want to but i genuinely dont care very much beyond continuing to make snarky replies.

People weren’t expecting chronic 2001, they were expecting music that wasn’t boring and forgettable

jason martin / problem was sayin in a interview with AD , that dre and snoop that hey recorcded a huge amount of joints for this and he is more disappointed that they had the "songs / sound sonic" everyone was lookin for but picked these joints for this project

because the 1 's WE ddint hear ARE more in the vein of what everyone was wantin -( includin him - and they were incredible)

( which is probably the joints DOC originally referenced bein new age death row joints )

prob said at least 30 joints which were incredible and slappin - but they went wit these - so i do believe as i mentioned earlier this was more about bein a commercial for the STILL GIN and gin and juice

and jimmys finger prints are all over it - that bein said apparently they had xxactly what everyone was lookin for - they just " chose these " and went in a diff direction

prob even said he told dre "this is for up here in the hills, and fo mfz who own helicopters "

Thats interesting, Snoop may decide to use those for the next album though.
