Just finished listening and it’s great.

This is a dope album....if you are an Old Head, you'll appreciate a lot more, bc it sounds nothing like what is currently "hot" in hiphop today, and thats what a lof of you in the comments have an issue with.

This describes Rhythm-al-ism to a t. A grown up album that ages well with time and doesn't sound like what was out there.

Does not describe, at all, Missionary. Missionary was clearly a commercial cash grab vs. how it was promoted.

and i can post clips from every time he bigged up those specific albums as well with his own mouth on his show which has existed at the same time the book was written. i'm willing to wager you misunderstood his words because he has been clear about being inspired by the wu while the roots lived in Europe working the tour circuit in the mid 90's

Shiit is good, imo. The best Snoop album has released in years. Kinda has an old school feel so can see why the younger crowd won't like it. But IMO its very good for a 50 and 60 year old
