This ain’t it maybe 1-2 tracks with replay value. To be fair I’ll give it one more spin but I think this is wack. I like the track with 50 and em and that’s about it for now

Album was mid. Some highs, some lows. I appreciate Snoop’s work in the past few years. I just don’t think much QA goes in to the songs that make the cut. I didn’t expect much. 50 verse was wack. Meth has been giving features money’s worth in past 3 years. Yikes. He decimates anything he is on. Some of these songs need some remixes.

I'm in the minority because I've been playing this album all weekend. I like damn near every song. The joint with Jelly Roll had to grow on me. The mixing and engineering are typical of Dr. Dre's standards at this point. I appreciate some of the risks he took production-wise, as well. Snoop came to rap! I don't know who his writer is, but Snoop owes them a mansion in Calabasas after this one :russ:

Let's keep it a bean. This is all Snoop as dude ran through that album and kept it hip hop AF.

Dre on the other hand :francis:

As others pointed out, we need that Snoop/Quik collab stat, because I'm kinda over Dre and his overhyped ass dated beats.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Snoop has shown over the years to not give a flying fukk about the talented producers around him (ask Daz, Soopafly, Fredwreck, Warren G, etc.) and go with whatever is hot at the moment.

If I'm Quik, I'd do a Rhythm-al-ism 2 or collab albums with west coast artists that aren't Problem. A Quik/Dom Kennedy album would be heat, same with a Jay Worthy/Quik album.

I'd like Dam-Funk x Larry June

After a few spins this is cool but all over the place

Half of the album feels like new shyt. The other half feels like some later 00s type shyt they tried to salvage

I need for ppl to really go and check those 2000-08 albums from Snoop. That was his prime. Snoop on No Limit was Randy Moss signing with the Raiders. Ppl think he was done but including and after Top Dogg and The Last Meal he dropped some of his best albums. This shyt ain't touching those albums especially the blue carpet treatment or even Paid tha Cost. Those albums had little to no Dre and didn't need him.

Youre overhating a bit, there were a few dope Dre tracks on there.

Otherwise i think Snoop doesnt get the props that he deserves from real heads due to his popularity but his discog albeit bloated has a lot of good great stuff.

Personally love R&G for example for mainstream commercial albums, dope music to my ears...
