opening monologue and walking dead sketch was vintage Chappelle.

the chris rock sketch was aight

the rest was absolute trash. SNL is a terrible show with a horrible cast. to think they have a week to come up with some of the terrible sketches is appalling

Black Jeopardy is piff, plus Keenan has his moments. But, yeah. Show is trash for the most part.

The Chris Rock/Prince episode last year was close to legendary, but this topped it.

Monologue and majority of the sketches were hilarious. They let Dave cook and most the sketch ideas were his beside the McKinnon bar one and Leslie/Kyle skit. Even though DC was rusty in some parts he still shyt on most other hosts.

Tip and Jarobi shut down the stage. Seeing Tribe was bittersweet without Phife but hopefully younger cats will now realize they're hip hop royalty thanks to this episode. And the album is AOTY IMO.

I feel like Chris Rock was instrumental in making the whole thing happen. Lorne trusts & listened to him and let DC run the shyt for the most part so salute to Chris and Lorne. I wonder if they had Neal Brennan do some cowriting as well. This will definitely go down as a historic episode.
