He's like Chance in that he can rap/sing and that his content doesn't revolve around black death, but OTOH, unlike post-Acid Rap Chance, he isn't beating you over the head with religion either.
Musically, in terms of riding a beat and using his voice like an instrument, he is probably unrivaled. The one caveat I'd say is historically, he occasionally has verses where I wish he took more time with his delivery. Some of his bars go over your head unless you heard it 2-3x but I feel like if he slowed down his cadence here and there, he would be even more accessible to a mainstream audience.

i always start off liking a few joints and then turn around and like 80% of his projects
No L's, 90 Proof, Pro Freak and Matinee gettin me through phase one
i miss the upbeat/kickback vibes that was in NOIR but i knew that wouldn't be forever.
Most of the features on this showed out. Doechii and J Cole definitely smoked that
