Disagree. She had a chance to live and didn’t take it.
Her last chance was when she went to meet the guy at the bar. He was going to take her to get rid of the demon. The demon peeps this and starts calling her on the phone (probably an illusion) and has the bar people come up to her recognizing her (again probably and illusion). She gets scared leaves. The demon didn’t have her yet. Then she goes home and the demon realizes it’s gotta get her now and it gets inside her with the dancers. That’s when she was cooked and everything she thought she was experiencing was an illusion after that.
The movie makes the protagonist lose in the middle of the film. That’s rare and I love it.
