In that theory, you would admit that Pac would fall off? He wasn't considered the best rapper when he was alive, especially when BIG, Nas, Mobb Deep, Wu Tang were hitting their strides.
He would fall off for sure

Just like many others da fck....again u lame as fck u idolize entertainers which is why u acting like aliyah and pac and these other dead artists who died in they prime would've last forever if they stayed alive...acting like a scorned stan cuz t pain made a reasonable comment to aliyah's career and u took it personal like the lame ass fck nikka u are
Fck outta here clown :scust:

u a lame ass nikka

u know how many great artists who lost relevance

and ur telling me a chick who could sorta sing lasting 25 years in the game is such a sure thing....its obvious that her death has destroyed ur sense of reality

What t pain said was very reasonable but because u idolize entertainers u catching feelings

Gtfo u lame ass corny ass nikka

Y'all both right. Respect Aaliyah, but if she was alive the same nikkas idolizing her would be saying she fell off.

Then again, if she was alive there'd be no Beyonce or Rihanna. No annoying beehives and navies. That would have been nice. Aaliyah was about us, not about pleasing white folks. There would be no weave crypt or bedwenching with Aaliyah, no playing games about her race to make her more palatable worldwide.

Oh well. Nobody deserved to die as she died. Ain't that right Matt and Tina?

Nah, you take shyt a lot more personal than me. :sas2:

Nas is still out there touring and have credibility to the younger generation. Artists that have that spark always last long in the industry and find their own fanbase when they no longer hot.

Nas and Jay are anomalies

Most people fall off after 10 years in the spotlight

U over here romanticizing bout aaliyah and sht...its soo unlikely she wouldve been relevant in 2015 if she was still alive...Like Brandy, Like Monica, like ashanti, etc etc.

AGain ur the lame crying cuz a nikka made a reasonable statement on a woman's career...the evidence of how personal u take sht is u making this idiotic thread then sayin "bububu aliyah never did nothing wrong to nobody, dnt talk about her career like that, thats mean :sadbron: "

Nikka plz :mjlol:

But seriously, you typing paragraphs of feelings that you be catching. Best believe that if Aaliyah lived, the like of Rihanna would probably be a Caribbean star, no more. There probably be more copy cats like Ciara and so on, but none of them would be as big. You deny her influence and even Drake worshipped her to death.

I thought that you were one of Drake's biggest supporters.

But its disgusting to see people throw dead artists under the bus and deny their impact that later artists took and ran with.

drake idolizes aliyah prolly cuz aliyah is a prime example of someone who cant rlly sing getting by simply by using a few notes throughoout her career and making catchy melodies and songs like a drake

but just like a drake...u can never compare aaliyah to an actual singer like a Beyonce

Aaliyah inspired all these r&B chicks who cant rlly sing ie: jhene aiko and sht

so ya Drake idolizing her doesnt surprise me one bit

Aaliyah can't sing? :wtf: She may not be no damn Whitney Houston, or even a Mary J., but she was from the 90s, and back then, they would have called her out if that was the case. You acting like she was Britney Spears.

lol. people love to play stupid when celebrities die.

aaliyah wasnt a vocalist at all. if she was still around doing music when t-pain blew up, she wouldve wasted no time jumping on that autotune bandwagon in hopes of reviving her music career. she wouldve been making sellout pop music as well.

t-pain was on point. it looks bad because of his terrible wording, and he picked the wrong time to say it - while premiering a track with her that only he would benefit from. he kept it real tho. cant be mad at that. but this'll probably be the last we hear from dude on this level of exposure.

He said that Aaliyah would have fallen off completely.

thats not what he said.

but truth be told, she had already fell off before she died.

and the cliff that she fell off from, wasnt all that high to begin with.

She already had staying power. She, in R&B terms, would have her own hardcore fanbase and lasted till now. She may not have been on top in 2015, but she would have outlasted most of her peers.

singers like aaliyah didnt last long breh.

and her fanbase had already started moving on,

She was never nasty, rude, or disrespectful to anyone when she was alive.

you dont know that.

thats not what t-pain meant anyway.

:umad:

lol @ comparing aaliyah to 2pac!!!

but yea, pac wouldve fell off too. i dont like the untouchable aura that people put around him either. nobody is exempt. as a betting man, i'd say that he had just 1 more classic album in him before cooling off.

pac was indeed considered the best active rapper before he passed. he had it poppin more than all those rappers you listed.

lol.

beyonce was already bigger than aaliyah when aaliyah was still alive, so how would there be no beyonce if aaliyah didnt pass?

beyonce wasnt "pleasing white folks" back then either.

and i wouldnt be throwing around bedwench insults, knowing aaliyah's track record.:usure:

and even Drake worshipped her to death.

i'd bet good money that drake wasnt even into music like that(if at all) when aaliyah was in her prime. just like the vast majority of aaliyah stans.

:heh:

she was never held in high-regard cannon. she was seen as a product of the producers & writers around her. she wasnt even seen in the same light as some of her immediate peers like monica & brandy.

there was no crusade against her career because she was mainly a school-girl act. her target audience was basically females in that elementary thru college range.

altho, her name was met with boos at the soul train awards in the midst of the r.kelly scandal.

Son no one is saying she wouldve def fell off but it's a known fact that death immortalizes people...I'm a big fan of Aaliyah but to deny this fact is delusional...who knows if she wouldve fell off...who knows if Pac would've fell off...who knows if Biggie would've fell off...it's a pointless conversation all around cause their time got cut short....and Pac was around while all of them nikkas u named was dropping their dopest shyt...so him falling off would have nothing to do with them...

Nah I wouldn't compare her to a Drizzy or Jhene Aiko...and think about it...there were artists with weaker voices blowing up heavy...like TLC...and Total....none them could really sing like that...they were more harmonizing...so Drizzy had more than Aaliyah to look too for that lane....matter of fact...the biggest of them all..Janet Jackson couldn't really sing like that..
