It's not worth it.

Initialize PS4, then click on Full. It takes a while.

Make sure you deactivate your PSN account from that PS4 before doing so (if primary)

I think sony had me doing some shyt like that...they had me put it in safe mode

Is your system up to date with installs?
If so it could be the hard drive. It sounds like a hard drive issue

Had this happen to me, but with my system. I turned it on, and the moment it reached the main menu selection it froze and shut off.

Turns out I just needed to update the system so luckily one day I managed to hurry to the update screen and put it on rest mode to update it. It never froze/shut off on me again.

OP check to see if all things are updated. Check all games, system softwares, etc.

Or heck, try and install a different hard drive and see if that is the problem. If you have PS+ then upload your gamesaves to their cloud first
