Them nikkas is fudging numbers, as usual I done watched about 5 of his movies so far (Set Up, Twelve, Things Fall Apart, Freelancers, Streets of Blood, Blood Out). fukk outta here Fif. No studio is giving you 1/5 of a billion dollars to produce some bullshyt ass B-movies. I could see if the production quality on his films were on say the level of "Training Day, Belly, Waist Deep, hell...even Paid in Full". That would add up. But....all his shyt looks basic & low budget as fukk. As far as recouping that "$200 million investment", I cant even find dvd sales totals on any of those movies. You know those shyts are abysmal

Paying the cast actors/actress griffs, electricians, carpenters ect..

licensing for example paying local municipalities for use of infrastructure

And we haven't gotten to manufacturing pressing blu ray and DVD disc

having them placed on store shelves in North America and I'm sure other regions i.e. Europe ect..

wait ya'll actually believe someone gave 50 cent $200 mil to make movies? 50 is only involved cause of his name and the potential to attract his fans and "urban" audiences to watch these films, why do you think he's in most of them. i also doubt he's even a major partner. the deal is for cheetah vision and emmett/furla to develop these films and 50 is only a "partner" with randall emmett in cheetah vision and emmett is also a partner with furla in emmett/furla. but both emmett and furla have been making movies for years including rambo. so they definetly don't need 50 for his movie making skills neither hollywood connections or funds so ask yourself why is 50 involved. if you look at all the popular news site and blogs especially hip hop ones all you see is "50 makes $200 mill deal" but when you look at trade related and business publications it's a different story even lionsgate press release for investors 50 name is only mentioned once and as an actor and emmett/furla and their partnership is all over the place.
