yea just like the Grizzlies werent gonna knock them out as the 8th seed:laugh:

actually i live in san antonio that year a lot of people feared playing the grizzlies, i dont know what people thought around the nation but here in SA we were scared shytless, in fact most wanted us to drop to the 2 seed that year, but shyt the spurs are a better team than 2 years ago and Duncan is healthier and playing better. Plus with SJackson and Splitter our playoff run will be more like last year

What are you talking about?
That Grizzlies team was 2-2 against the Spurs that year, they were viewed as a serious threat against them.

And they had a top 3-4 record post all-star break that year. And they were only an 8 because they tanked to play the Spurs. If they would've played out to their strength, they probably would've been about a 6th seed. And Ginobili had a broken arm and Duncan was practically on one leg. And that was a different Spurs team.

A long time ago, a great music cd told me that if you have chestnuts, that means you have a dikk in your mouth so basically, Morris needs to stop sucking of the Lakers because the Spurs will tax these nikkas in April just like the IRS does.

Get the hell outta here... you are what your record is. Sure, the Lakers have talent but its not like they're going to stop these quick PGs and defending fastbreaks/3 pointers

If that was all the way true then the team with the best record would win the title every year. The key word there is "talent" becuase that is what it comes down to in the playoffs. Lakers have the talent and experience to compete with the Spurs in the playoffs. Will they actually bring it all together and beat them? Probably not. But it's not preposterous to acknowledge that it's possible.

And??...they were an 8th seed, and Spurs were 1

Upset is an upset...

as long as Kobe is Kobe and Dwight continues to get more healthy, I will continue to view them as a threat

Lakers have one of the best records post all-star break and I can say the only reason we are an 8th seed right now is due to injury and lack of chemistry, two issues that will hopefully be fixed by playoffs, chemistry is already improving, Dwight is visibly more healthy, and Pau will add depth

and Splitter has?:comeon:

its not even about who gon stop who, if Dwight continues to get healthy the Lakers will be a problem in the West

Lakers have won 14 of their last 18 without depth, so Gasol can only help

4 of those losses are against good teams. The other 14 wins are against shytty teams. :umad:

Lakers aren't gelling. They are just getting wins against shytty teams. Truth hurts.
