With Gasol coming back and him shooting 43% in the playoffs the last two years, I doubt the Spurs will have any trouble beating these Lakers in 5-6 games.

its funny during these winning streak of the Lakers they have been beating garbage teams...ie raptors, magic, hawks, hornets, mavs, wolves

against real teams (ie thunder loss, nuggets loss)

The Lakers so far this season have lost games to the Spurs by 2 and 3 points.

In the second game neither Pau or Dwight played.

That was with guys like Darius Morris and Robert Sacre in the starting lineup, who are both in D-League right now.

If you don't think a focused Lakers team could push and beat the Spurs...well...

nah... not happening. The Spurs in that last game had a big lead and stepped off the gas. They did escape LA with a win but thats how good teams win, the Lakers have been getting bailed out by Kobe and he isn't going to keep doing that for an entire playoff series at this point.

I expect Parker to dominate Nash and Blake... and I expect the Spurs young players to keep playing well..Pop will have them ready. Lakers aren't winning anything assuming they stay in the playoff picture. The Spurs 3 point shooting should be good because the Lakers defense is still bad, they just have been fortunate to play bad offensive teams lately that dont have the shooting or the IQ

I remember Earl Clark doing good early on. But lately he's been good? I don't see it like they've been seeing it.

That Grizzlies team had Randolph playing at the highest level of his career, they had great depth to boot. San Antonio only had one big at the time.. Timmy... Splitter wasn't what he was now and Blair wasn't going to do work on that front line either. Add in Conley who played great D on Parker, and you have a receipe for success

Who on the Lakers is going to check Parker? Who is going to stop their young players from getting out and getting to the 3 point line? The Lakers give up so many open 3 pointers and plus they don't get back in transition. The Spurs will just go up tempo and run the Lakers out of the gym...

I also wouldn't put it past Splitter to do some work down low because D'Antoni isn't going to play Howard/Gasol together... plus, Gasol hasn't shown to be a playoff performer since the 2010 finals.

The Lakers aren't beating anyone in the Western conference 4 times out of 7.
