Instead of being the chess pieces (pawns) we should play chess and vote based on which party is offering the most for us during elections and hold them accountable by voting them out if they don’t deliver.

The biggest problem is there are a lack of Black people in Real Estate Development. That is the source of power. They control everything resources, lobbying power, voting power, city contract negotiations, tax benefits, investment funds, etc etc. There's a term called "going up the Supply Chain".
