The Warriors offense legitimately dies every time Durant is out there without Curry. Normally he hits enough of those shots for it to be sustainable but this time he didn’t hit them and then they went into 2016 game 7 mode for the last 5 mins. Idk how you fix that short of playing Curry more, which probably isn’t the solution
I agree and its kinda trippy how this 4th quarter felt like deja vu of 2016 game 7 where the dancing stopped, the chants fell silent and the Warriors abandoned everything that they do well as they hopelessly chuck shots that suddenly look every bit as bad as theyve traditionally been known to be, while the whole bandwagon looks on in stunned terror.
The cameras no longer seem to seek out the Curry matriarchs in the stands. :mjthink:
That old
choking at home feeling
shyt is uncomfortable.
I mean thats why they went out n got KD, right.
Yet at the same time the overall back and forth was also very reminiscent of the old Thunder teams with KD back to being Mr. Unreliable and the role of Mr. Sabo
missing wide open 3s you definitely should be making being played by (not so) Young Wardell. Your turn my turn iso, thats the Golden State way, right?
Now I get why KD talks about "same energy" so often. He got the same damn energy he had en route to losing early in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
