I just don't think Doc has an offensive identity for the team or a feel for the game. Last game they had Kawhi in the Luka role. He thrived as the facilitator but then today it's just Montrez isolations with Zubac on the bench.

Or, why do offense/defense subs with Beverley and Lou when Lou is shooting 9% from 3 and was having another bad night? They'll go quarters where they don't even try to post-up Kawhi, even tho he's killed Denver there.

I'm not sure Doc knows what he's doing.

3 point shooting tends to even out. They were hitting everything early on and cooled off.

As inconsistent as Trez and Lou have been, the Clippers have no choice but to persist with both of them, in hopes they can turn it around. There's no alternative, especially given the fact they don't have any resemblance of an offensive system, which would've allowed the rest of their second-unit depth to come in as plug-and-play pieces.

There were back-to-back possessions midway through the 4th in which Trez went one on two (got blocked by Jokic) and one on four (got blocked by 3 guys) in which there was a bee-line pass to a wide-open Kawhi in the perimeter, hands waiting.. but Trez just ignored that nygga.

Granted, Trez's iso role is purposeful when Kawhi is on the bench. But when boardman is on the floor, the only thing you need from Trez is the same thing Zubac already does better: direct PnR, or set screens. Zu finishes just as well at the rim, but is a better freethrow shooter, more willing passer if crowded, and a far superior defender/rebounder. But Doc was more concerned with keepin Trez happy all season and habitually benched Zu in 4th qtrs to overplay Trez.

You can still play Trez and Kawhi but the iso's need to be cut unles it's a forced mismatch off a PnR. And in general, breh needs to un-tunnel his vision.
