Your thinking of "use it or lose it" which happens with synapses. Im talking about losing a whole part of the brain but still regaining their functions.

I've heard of a kid losing one half of cortex at the corpus callosum and the brain rewires the remaining half to function like a full brain but I've never heard that being possible in an adult

Just because the science is theoretical doesn't make it invalid. It's the best we have. Neuroscience can't explain consciousness or even something as simple as how memory works. And the bottom line is the physical world is the result of the quantum world so the two are not independent of each other.

I have a problem with you taking mere conjecture and then applying it to other cases. Its faulty premise upon faulty premise.

Neuroscience can't explain consciousness or even something as simple as how memory works.

1. YET. We don't know...completely...YET.

2. you're asserting that its "simple"...and thats not even demonstrably accurate. Describing something says nothing about its inherently complexity.

3. consciousness in as far as we know is merely neurons working together as much as a corporation is a bunch of individuals working together.

4. We've BARELY been studying this shyt for the shy part of 100 years. give it some time breh.

and they BECAME "hard" when they start proving shyt.

You didn't explain any of the science behind it though. You injected your own opinion in lieu of NOTHING that was actually implied and then tried to pass it off as if what you were saying was established science.

it has nothing much to do with the origin of the universe, but the universe being holographic resolves a problem with calculating maximum entropy within a black hole. In 3 dimensional space it would be expected to be cubed, but in a black hole it is squared.

how is it not an intelligent design theory? if this is a computer simulation someone/some group is obviously responsible for programming it. they even programmed in a part about us having a discussion about the program and programmed some people to not believe in it....hmmmm
