I don't know anybody that still even watches this show. It's been on so far past its prime that at this point it has probably been wack longer than it's been great

This...I was a big fan but the humor is so far gone Its not even entertaining to me anymore. I don't care how much I like a show if it gets wack, I'm not fukin with it anymore. I still peep the prime eps though no doubt.

I do :whoknows: it's my favorite show of all time so I'm going to continue to watch it just out of habit.

Anyway, shyt is bugged out that this happened but in no way is the show going to end because of it. When the voice actors went on strike a few years ago, they found people to imitate them and I barely noticed a difference for real. It sucks that he's gone but they'll find someone who can imitate what he did and the show will continue. Maybe fox doesn't bring it back 2 years from now? But if show continues to get good ratings and make so much money in merchandising, and make so much for FXX, I feel like it'll just keep going. If he died, they'd retire his characters which would be a huge blow to the show but quitting? CM Punk said it best, just a spoke in the wheel

Also the Lego Simpsons line is really popular right now. Kwik-E-Mart is selling out. IMO, they just need to revamp the series in some way. Maybe bring in a new character or family to Springfield. I think the show is overdue for some more black characters personally.

I think they just need new writers for real for real but I'm always going to think that. New characters might help too but you don't want to pull an actual Poochie. They need writers who get what made the show work so well and get back to actual satire not what they do now mostly. The problem with the show is that its too inconsistent now; a great writing staff, relatively small, would accomplish that.

While thry could replace him, as far as I know the Simpsons is one of the few shows that don't replace actors.

If they did, we would still have lionel hutz, troy mcclure, krabapple etc.
