I know he's Italian but he's still an "indian wrestler" That's the role he played and is known for. I don't think people think about Mohammed Hassan the same as Bruno or even Tony D'Angelo

He wasn't winning no belt. WWE is too white american oriented, especially in the 00s when triple H humiliated Booker T on the mic and Booker submitted to those guys like a weak ass punk.

Plus there were some bombings in UK few days before the title match. That right there gave WWE a 100% confidence to not put the belt on this guy.
