Sugar Shane Helms dropped a Kayfabe Commentaries shoot.
Trailer:

Mentions Hassan's heat with the boys.

Hassan wanted to smooth it over by buying them whiskey shots. . . . and they poured it all over the bar floor.

Telling the one of the TOP DRAWS IN THE COMPANY, and most certainly the top draw on SmackDown, what he can and can't do in the ring is a one-way ticket to Chernobyl, no matter how right or wrong you actually are. It's worse when you're completely in the wrong, like dumbass Hassan was here.

Just to make sure, because it wasn't emphasized in the OP, this was THE incident, not the garrotting that happened around the time of the 7/7 London bombings, that got Hassan's career killed. When that 7/7 thing went down, they basically used it as a way for them to get rid of Hassan altogether rather than just moving the character to Raw because of what happened between him and Eddie.

fukkin :dead:

+ rep for that Chernobyl reference :wow:

Hassan is one of the biggest what ifs in wrestling history for me….

If not for the backstage politics and undermining from the boys…there’s not doubt he would’ve went down as a legendary heel. His heat was like Dom Mysterio’s X10. He could talk, you bought him as being an Arab American although he was really Italian. His wrestling theme was great.

His in ring work wasn’t special but you can see with time and experience he would’ve been decent. His character was the selling point but the UK bombings completely killed it.

Stanning of indian wrestlers on the coli needs to be studied. Waiting for the "Mohammed Hassan VS Jinder Mahal" spin off thread.

His theme is is absolute flames though. Jim Johnston had to still be in the kitchen for this shyt. He made theme songs special
