Watched this during a long flight last month. Really enjoyed it. Might have to give it a second spin now that I'm back home.

Common did just fine. I have no idea what anyone’s problem with his acting is.

The ending kind of confused me.

Why would they have a fake AI generate the outside world as lush and green when its really what the judicial has been telling the populace for 200 years, a dangerous wasteland? Yea I get maybe not wanting people to know that there are other Silo’s and hence, other groups of humans out there but if your going to strap people into a suit that, presumably is designed for them to perish from the outside world’s fumes then whats the point of a fake atmosphere?
After reading the first book, I can say that...
The outside is terrible, the only thing modified in the image to the people inside the Silo is that the other silos are hidden.
The point of showing a beautiful environment to the ones cleaning is:
1) Make them grateful enough to clean the screen
2) It's a known death sentence anyway, they just want them to be distracted enough so they'lll die without walking around and noticing the silos and somehow signaling the people about it.

Binged this over holidays and it was great 8/10

However, I’ve heard that books 2 and 3 are weaker so I am not sure about the future of this series
