We are in a complete rebuilding phase, making the playoffs was never on our radar. We just want to be competitive at this point. But the fact that the Niners can't beat us and

gotta give it up to fisher tho. dude may be overrated, but he sure knows how to make a good d out of pretty much nothing.
They had more points than us though. Over the past 2 years minus one game, the rams have always given us trouble. Actually going back to parts of 3 seasons the rams have been tough as shyt and have taken us to ot 3 times during that span. Maybe just maybe they play us better than mist teams they play. I know offensively they didnt do much but thats only one part of the equation, kaep played well and if not for him we would have done nothing because we sure couldnt run today, and when we cant run bad things happen. You know this as a niners fan that everything revolves around the run and rather than blame kaep, I think it shows how much we missed Hunter today.
The bar has been lowered for Alex for the last 7 1/2 years by fukkboys like you. Don't be soft on a 8 year vet then raise the bar when it comes to a dude starting his 3rd game.

Im not lowering the bar but you fail to see the big picture. You were all excited about kaep last week after the saints game, we all knew realistically that he wouldnt come in and be the next steve young. Fact of the matter is, and we all said it, if he's gonna fukk up then it's good it happens now. I dont think he played any worse than alex would have played, but we're talking about a player in his 3rd start vs one with 7 years under his belt. That safety was debatable the fumble was inexcusable, but as I said this same guy brought us back down the field and gave us 2 scoring opportunities. One was a dropped td the other was a missed fg, but you say he did nothing. You cant be that quick to dismiss the fact that other than him our offense did nothing, not frank, not jacobs, not anyone. You cant be a knee jerk reactionist and say he sucked when you know he is out there doing stuff alex wouldnt or couldnt do. Lastly it's the nfl, we beat the saints, packers and bears and lose to the vikings and rams, go figure. Kaep is your qb man might as well get over it.

I am fine with Kap, he actually brings some form of an offense to the team.
Alex gets too much respect for nothing he is good in "THIS SYSTEM" he is average at best. Once he leaves he will go back to Nolan and Singletary numbers, an elite qb does not lose his job to JT O'Sullivan or Shaun Hill when you are the #1 draft pick overall. He is what he is and now that he has the stigma of being a game manager now he takes a shyt ton of sacks. He took 20 more than previous seasons last season and was on pace to pass that this year barring injury, more often then not he looks like a deer in the headlights when he has the ball with a blitz or he takes a sack to not mess up his pass completion percentage. I am over all debate , he is a back up qb at best.

The worst thing is that with all this bullshyt we have begun to move away from the run which is hurting our team more so then any miss pitched Kap threw or all that jazz.
The sad truth is though I am a niners fan, I am not sold we are super bowl and bust - we lose too many games with either QB by not playing the most effective game plan for us to win

I dunno man, they been giving us hell basically for 3 years, we've been in ot 3 times over that time and have only beaten them twice comfortably every other time it's a touchdown difference or less.

I have been telling people this, but no one wants to remember the 3 & outs that Alex was doing as well as looking lost on the field.
