Alex would have gotten his ass handed to him this game, are you high? Look at the push their line got on ours. Alex would have taken sack after sack and there might have been a fumble or two.

Watch the Vikings, Jets, Giants and Seahawks games...that's why his ass is on the bench.

8 years of chances for this dude and dudes wanna replace the 2nd year guy after 1 game.

Also...why is there no talk about the refs fukking up that safety? :pacspit:

Listen I don't follow the 49ers like that but of course this whole QB thing is a Big Story in the NFL. So I watched this full game and I noticed a QB that was looking more like a rookie. I get harbaugh's point of getting Colin reps so he could be ready for the Playoffs but it was a huge gamble that could cost the 49ers a chance at the Super Bowl. Alex has been average his whole career but he's finally found some stability.

Last year was just the beginning, this year he could finally take the next step and now with this QB drama it could hurt his confidence. I understand Colin playing the last two games cause of the concussion but I think Alex should of came back this game. People keep saying "Colin has a higher ceiling" which is true but he also has a deeper BASEMENT cause he's young. You know what you are going to get with Alex, Colin still has some unknowns.

I don't know if Alex could of won this game but I doubt he would made the rookie mistakes Colin made. I just think Harbaugh through the energy off his QB that was playing better than he has his whole career. He current is the 5th Highest rated QB in the league and has the #1 completion %. Now Harbaugh will look wrong if he all the sudden goes back to Alex. The whole thing is a mess and it could of easily not happen if he stuck with the guy that got him to the NFC title game.

Perriera already explained how the safety shouldn't have been called one during the game. The WR pitch was a terrible playcall on a crucial third down. Better believe that the followers of the Temple of Alex Smith would certainly not pin those mistakes on Alex.

I'd compare Kaep's play today to Alex's against the Seahawks at home. Why don't you do a forum search and check out LastEmp rationalizing that (worse) performance, while he's already put Kaep at the stake for this.

Alex won that game, he didn't hand the other team 10 points

?that playcall sucked but you have to be able to execute a pitch. That play, and a few others showed why you shouldn't trust a potential SB team with a first year starter

I'm almost 100% certain Kaeps gonna be a much better payer than Alex ever was or will be, but it is not his time yet, he is not ready

You seem to forget why we were a potential football team, idiot. It had to do with our D, running game and special teams. QB was plug & play which is why Harbs inserted Kaep.

Are you just a troll or do you actually have a learning disability?

lol @ tha kaep haters

but lets go to Gore when its fukking 2nd or 3rd and 15 :rudy:

play calling wuz fukking HORRIBLE....INEXCUSABLE

Kaep gets 3rd down to try to make anything happen, and Rams know its coming

i saw this happening the last game also, its like they FORCING Kaep to play conservative

when he first started he wuz doing his thing, now he's bowing down to Niners coach pressure and he's failing

makes me wonder if Smith wuz really responsible for his conservative plays also......

these fukking moron coaches need to be fired

Damn, so now we have the worst coaches in the league? Damn brehs? Harbaugh should be fired, let's get Andy Reid!

Alex Smith is not coming back, or I should say he shouldn't Harbaugh has got to stick to his guns and keep Kaep out there. Every game he plays is a learning experience and we have to realize that. The honeymoon in a sense is over. We will make the playoffs, I just hope this doesn't cost us the two seed, because we gotta get ready for Miami which is not a gimme and the Pats in NE, and we gotta go to a good Seattle team that has a good shot at the Wildcard.

So stick with a first year starter with at most 7 career starts going into the playoffs with a potential SB team

Kaeps just not ready, his best game was Chicago and his push has declined each week since

I don't have to follow a team to know benching your QB when he's been playing well may not have been a smart move.

And you have to watch the games to understand why our starting QB is on the bench and not in our future plans despite putting up a good QB rating.

We're not winning a Super Bowl wit Alex Smith especially with Akers missing half his kicks. Why even continue with him when his replacement can give us what he does and more?

Yall rallying around a marginal system quarterback. Baffling.

We won't win a SB on the back of our D alone. We aren't the 2001 Ravens. We need some sort of contribution from the passing game if we are to contend. There is zero evidence that Alex can provide this. His ceiling is clear after 8 years. I'd much rather roll the dice on the future and allow our QB to get the necessary experience in the meantime. Sitting a high draft pick for two straight years to allow a game manager to keep the reigns makes no sense.

I'm no rallying around anyone, I know Alex has been weak most of his career and Colin is obviously the future. I'm just saying a midseason switch is a little overreaction. A lot of people said Alex would never win a playoff game yet he got to the NFC title game as that same manager. Just as a football fan watching from afar, I feel the 49ers are a good team even with Alex just being a manager. Plenty of "Manager" QB's have own the Super Bowl. The point is Colin is still young and the playoffs are no games. Alex has been there and is growing. I never thought I would ever defend Alex Smith but I have to be fair looking at this situation. I think he should of still been starting and next year let Colin take over. But again it was harbaugh decision and he went with the kid. Now he has to live with that.

I still cant get over a shytty playcall like a toss to fukking ted ginn, inside your own 20, on a third down, late in a game where a punt makes the other teams offense go at least 60 yards to get a TD and a 2pt conversion

Xtra is a fakkit on block, he admitted he hasn't watched the 49ers since Montana left.

There's no room on the bandwagon for fans like him

I know.... I was being sarcastic.... Just found it funny how someone who attacks us didn't say anything to this dude..... Hmmmmmm
